Going once.... going twice! ...... SOLD to the man wearing a chicken hat

I would have bought food (but only if I could see what it was) but if I felt that there was a chance that I would be the next one voted off, my priority would have been to buy immunity.  I feel really bad for Shambo because she spent a lot of money to get something that nobody would have actually wanted.  She's a trooper though so I think she could get over it.  John, on the other hand, was pretty selfish.  He had a choice of either getting a piece of apple pie for himself, or letting four other players have a piece instead.  Even though he spent his own money on it, there are multiple reasons why he should have chosen to share, such as: 1. to be nice, and 2. so that other people don't harbor resentment against him.

I'm pretty sure I would have bid on a shower because I can't even imagine how it would feel for going that long without being clean.  By getting refreshed and feeling clean, I would probably feel better about myself and be even more energized for the next challenge.

  1. I agree with you, John is selfish. He seems like he didn't know what he was really doing. Honestly, though, if I was starving and absolutely NEEDED food for my body, I would've gotten the piece of pie for myself.
But if I was okay, like John seemed to be, I would've given pie to the other players.

Yeah, I definitely would've bid on the shower as well... It must have felt so gross being all dirty and sweaty for all of that time. Natalie bought a peanut butter & jelly sandwich...AND a shower!
    Those were definitely great choices.

  2. yea, i get what your saying about the shower thing, i hate feeling dirty. But as much as i hate to admit it i probably would have gotten the food too. I would like to think i could step up for my team but I'm a small guy as is, I'm deffinitely not trying to go without food any longer that i have too. So yea, food probably would have been my choice.

  3. I would have done the same thing john did. The other survivors still had 500 dollars to spend on the pie. Survivor is survival of the fittest why would you help your enemy by buying them pie and helping the refueled for the next game?

  4. Yeah you guys all make a good point. I really don't know why the others didn't bid, but they should have. And since John bid the most, he must have wanted the pie more than the rest of them. I changed my mind about his decision :)

  5. By the way, I agree that Natalie's choices were excellent. She jumped right at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich because she did not want to sit around waiting for something better to come along. Plus, since she bought the food right in the beginning, she had money left over and it was safe for her to bid on the shower because she did not have to save some for food.
